Multi-signee contracts
Contracts can require signatures from multiple parties, and each signee receives a unique URL for viewing and signing their copy. Partial signing is tracked in real time, showing which parties have signed and which haven't, so the contract's progress is always visible.
How multi-signee works
When creating a contract, multiple signees are added with their name and email address. Each signee gets their own unique signing URL, which means each party accesses the contract independently. All parties can sign in any order - as each signee signs, their signature is recorded on the contract.
Tracking partial signatures
The contract detail view shows the signing status of each party. Signed parties display the signature, timestamp, and IP address. Unsigned parties show as "pending", with the option to resend the signing link. Once one signee signs, the contract status moves to Partially signed, and it becomes Signed once every signee has signed.
Completion and PDF generation
Once every signee has signed, the contract status changes to "signed" automatically. A completed PDF is generated with all signatures, timestamps, and legal capture details embedded. The PDF can be downloaded by any party and serves as the final signed record.
Unique signing URLs mean each party signs independently, so a three-party contract doesn't require everyone in the same room, the same email thread, or the same document view.
