Protect your account with two-factor authentication (also known as 2-step verification), and add an extra layer of security to your account in case your password is stolen.

After you set up two-factor authentication, you’ll sign in to your account in two steps using:

  1. Your password.

  2. A dynamically created 6-digit code from your authentication service.

Here is a list of some of the most popular two-factor authentication tools:

To turn-on two-factor verification:

  1. Click on your profile badge [1] and then select My account [2]:

  2. Scroll to the Two-factor authentication section and click Turn on as shown below:

  3. Once you have turned on two-factor authentication you will be provided 2 easy steps as follows:

  4. Scan the barcode with your authentication app or the screen capture on your password manager.

  5. Once the account has been added, your authenticator service will provide you a 6-digit code. Enter this code in the provided field, and click Submit and verify to complete the setup.

  6. Do not forget to Generate backup keys.

TIP: We highly recommend you generate backup keys and save them somewhere safely. If you lose your phone or otherwise can't get codes via your authenticator service, you can use backup codes to login. After you use a backup code to sign in, it becomes inactive. You can also generate a new set of 10 codes whenever you want. After creating a new set, the old set automatically becomes inactive.
