The PayPal workspace integration:
Lets you accept payments directly into your PayPal account
Works anywhere Plutio supports online payments (invoices, proposals, schedulers, etc.)
Uses a single PayPal email address for your entire workspace
Plutio doesn’t charge extra payment fees, but PayPal charges its normal processing fees.
Go to Settings → Integrations → PayPal.
In PayPal email, enter the email address of the PayPal account you want to receive money into.
Ideally this should be a PayPal Business account email.
Make sure the toggle at the bottom is set to Active (green).
Changes are saved automatically.
That’s it — there’s no extra connection flow. Plutio will use this email whenever a client pays you via PayPal.
After the integration is active, you can enable PayPal as a payment method:
Invoices / Proposals
Open the invoice or proposal.
In the Payment methods section, turn on PayPal.
Send it to your client. They’ll see a PayPal option when they view it online.
Schedulers
Edit your scheduler that takes payments.
In the payment settings, enable PayPal.
When someone books and pays, they’ll be redirected to PayPal to complete the payment.
Payments made through these flows go straight to the PayPal account linked to the email you entered.
If you don’t want to accept PayPal anymore:
Go to Settings → Integrations → PayPal.
Switch the Active toggle off.
PayPal will no longer be available as a payment method on new invoices / proposals / schedulers, but existing paid documents keep their history.
Can I use different PayPal emails per client or per invoice?
No. The integration uses one email address per workspace.
Where can I see PayPal fees and payouts?
Inside your PayPal account. Plutio only shows the payment record and status, not the detailed fee breakdown.
Client says payment succeeded but invoice is still unpaid
First, confirm the payment appears in your PayPal account. If it does, and Plutio didn’t update automatically, you can manually Add payment on the invoice and contact support with the PayPal transaction ID for further checking.
