What the manual bank account integration does
Create a new bank account
Example fields you can add
Activate / deactivate a bank account
How it appears on invoices
The Bank account (manual) integration lets you:
Create one or more bank accounts for your workspace
Store the details for each account (account number, IBAN, SWIFT, etc.) as custom fields
Show those details on invoices so clients can send a manual bank transfer
Plutio does not move money for you here. Clients pay you outside Plutio, and you mark the invoice as paid once you receive the funds.
Go to Settings → Integrations → Bank account (manual).
Click New bank account.
Fill in Account name
This is a label for the account, for example:
“Main business account”
“USD account”
“EUR account (Germany)”
Under the fields area, add your bank details as Field name / Value pairs:
In Field name, type the label (e.g. Account number).
In Value, type the actual value (e.g. 123456789).
Click Add another to create more rows.
Make sure the Active toggle is switched on (green).
Click Create.
You can come back later to edit any of these values.
You can structure the details however you like. Common examples:
Field name: Bank name – Value: ACME Bank
Field name: Account number – Value: 123456789
Field name: IBAN – Value: DE89 3704 0044 0532 0130 00
Field name: SWIFT / BIC – Value: COBADEFFXXX
Field name: Routing number – Value: 021000021
Field name: Payment reference – Value: Use invoice number as reference
These labels are exactly what your client will see on the invoice.
In the bank account editor:
Use the Active toggle to enable or disable an account.
When an account is Inactive, it won’t be available as an option when using manual bank transfer on invoices.
This is useful if you switch banks or only want certain accounts used for new invoices.
When you enable bank transfer / manual bank payment on an invoice:
Plutio shows the Account name and all of the Field name / Value rows you’ve configured for that bank account.
Your client uses those details to send a transfer from their bank.
Once you see the money in your bank account, open the invoice and Mark as paid so your records in Plutio stay accurate.
