Custom fields allows you to add more details to almost anything like tasks, projects and people profiles.

For example, you can create task custom fields for tags, priority, estimates or anything else you can imagine!

There are 4 different field types to choose from; Input, Date, Dropdown and Multis-elect.

To create custom fields:

Click on "Settings" from your main menu and then click on "Custom fields" from the settings menu. You can also visit this link which will take you to that page directly.
Choose what do you want to create a custom field for, then click on the "Create custom field" button to create a new one, or click on any of the current custom fields to edit them.
Give your custom field a name, choose its type, then click create.
Once created, you can add your new custom fields by clicking on the "Add fields" input.

For example, click on a task to open it, then click on the option that says "Add custom field" and you should see the custom fields you've created there.
